Did you know that Stehpen King writes some of his drafts long hand? I wonder if it’s the whole draft, or just certain sections. He says if he wants more thoughtful phrases, it’s long hand. I like writing with fountain pens – so why not write a whole book? I wonder if that would have an effect on my manuscript? I think I’ll experiment with my next one – the YA fantasy I talked about earlier. I mean – I do my outline in long hand. I’ll give it a shot. I’ve got my choice of pens and inks to use. Just means I’ll have to type it up when I am done, but that can also encompass any revisions I’ll need. The only real downside is that it’s going to take longer…then again, I’m not ablaze with speed, am I?

The outline for the YA novel is coming along, speaking of that and Serve Me Now is limping. I just need to get a good writing day in on Saturday. Next week is GenCon, so no post from me since I’ll be gone furthering my mini painting education. If I’m lucky, I’ll retain some of it! One panel (“Blending Bootcamp!”) is three hours long. I want to get better and more confident at painting minis for my gaming groups and for myself.

There’s not a whole lot happening here outside of writing and getting ready for the convention. Just me and my boring writer’s life. I’m a little interested in writing something longhand, I’ve gotten my vest for my button collection and I’ve gotten the hotel money. I wish I could say more, but that’s it. Sorry if this seemed a little short.
